The 1st International Symposium on Geo-hazards Perception, Cognition and Prediction &

The 4th International Workshop of China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite Mission

(Second Announcement)

The 1st International Symposium on Geo-hazards Perception, Cognition and Prediction (PCP) & The 4th International Workshop of CSES Mission, co-organized by Central South University, China National Space Administration (CNSA), China Earthquake Administration (CEA) and Italian Space Agency (ASI), will be held in Changsha, China on October 18-20, 2019. As an interdisciplinary area of scholarship encompassing synergic pre-earthquake anomaly monitoring, seismo-electromagnetic satellite, geo-hazards PCP, this joint conference aims to have a profound impact on human beings and modern societies by contributing to the development of multi-disciplinary approach to earthquake synergic monitoring, anomaly recognition, short-term prediction and geo-hazard studies.

More than 90 abstracts covering the topics in the 1st annoucemnet are recerived. Appart from the plenary/panel keynotes in the Mornings of Oct. 18 and Oct.20, ten parallel sessions are to be organized in the afternoon of Oct. 18 and on Oct.19.
